1. The Bear and His Tail

Once upon a time, there was a bear who had a nice long tail. He met a fox holding a bucketful of fish. The fox said that he had caught the fish by stealing them. When the bear asked how he had caught the fish, the fox said, It's simple; first make a hole in the ice and, then dip your tail inside. The fish will come to bite it and get stuck to it.' The bear did that. But the frozen ice closed around his tail held him tightly. With great difficulty he pulled himself away but most of his tail was cut off and never grew again!..............
